On October 28th, a significant event took place at our school premises in the LKG classroom, bringing together a vital triad of participants: parents, LKG students, and dedicated teachers. This event, known as the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), served as a platform for open dialogue and reflection on the children's progress. The central theme of the classroom discussion was the cultivation of good habits and manners.
What set this PTM apart was the active participation of the students. Their enthusiasm and eagerness were palpable as teachers posed questions and students responded with zeal. Parents, on the other hand, had a unique opportunity to observe how their children behaved in a classroom setting and actively engage in the educational process.
One of the highlights of the event was a small yet engaging game called "Pick the Teddy Bear." This game, in addition to being fun, played a crucial role in enhancing the coordination of children's eyes, ears, and hands. It also contributed to the development of their listening and concentration skills, underscoring the holistic approach to education.
The result of this well-organized PTM was unequivocally successful. It not only fostered a stronger connection between parents and the school but also imparted valuable knowledge about the significance of good habits for the overall well-being and future success of the students.

Parents - Teachers Meeting - Nursery
PTM was organized on 28th October for the Nursery class. The PTM was based on the concept of classroom conversations. The students were very excited during the conversations. They talked about different animals, what is tall and short, different colors, and things of that color. They also recited poems in groups. Parents also did painting with their child. During the PTM, parents observed how their child interacted and spoke confidently in public. After that, worksheets were distributed to parents, and we had a fruitful discussion on the child's progress.

Parents - Teachers Meeting - LKG
The PTM was conducted on 28th October for class LKG. The PTM was conducive and provided a nice forum to reflect upon our child's progress and address any queries. The topic of classroom conversation was 'Good Habits and Manners.' During the conversation, students actively participated and were excited when the teacher asked questions and they provided answers. During this PTM, parents observed how their child behaved and actively took part in classroom conversations. Students gained knowledge about good habits, which are essential for their healthy life. In between, we organized a small game called 'Pick the Teddy Bear,' in which both students and parents participated. This game helps improve a child's eye-hand coordination, listening power, and concentration. The PTM was successful.

 Honesty
Honesty is abiding by rules and regulations, maintaining discipline, behaving well, speaking the truth, being punctual, and helping others sincerely. Being honest helps a person gain the trust of those in their surroundings, experience happiness, receive blessings from a higher power, and much more.
Honesty means speaking and telling the truth. A person who is honest will always stand for the truth, no matter the circumstances they face. Honesty is one of the most important values a person should possess because it defines their personality and elaborates on their attitude. If a person is honest, they will automatically earn respect.

 Dussehra
Dussehra is the most auspicious festival celebrated by Hindus across India. This festival is also known as Vijayadashami in some parts of the country. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that on this day, Goddess Durga eliminated the demon Mahishasura from the earth. Dussehra symbolizes Lord Ram's victory over the demon King Ravana, signifying the victory of the power of good over evil. To enjoy the festival, people enact the battle through skits and plays in a dramatic form, which is called Ram-Leela. In North India, people perform Ram-Leela by burning huge, life-size effigies of demon Ravana and his brothers. They fill those effigies with explosives and aim an arrow with fire, resulting in splendid fireworks and stunning visuals. Dussehra teaches us an important lesson: that good always triumphs over evil and the importance of righteousness and integrity in our lives.

 Enfance
Frivolous expressions and musings of childhood may seem trivial to all of us now. But those halcyon laughs and seraphic adventures will never come back. Childhood, although ephemeral, is full of ebullience. A seed always yearns to become a tree and reaches its goal, but the tree itself may never become a seed again. Its cries are never answered. Now, I can only reminisce about the incandescent days of summer when my friends and I would gather and march through our village with not a care in the world. We would meander through the streets and run toward anything that seemed even remotely interesting. For us, we were the kings of our village, looking upon our kingdom, and our chariots were our bicycles. There are not enough words in the English language for me to describe my childhood tales. My emotions far exceed the words I can use to express them. As Jean-Jacques Rousseau famously remarked, “Childhood is the sleep of reason.”

 Overthinking
Overthinking is like having too many thoughts in your head. It's when you keep worrying and questioning things too much. It can make you feel anxious and tired. But, it's important to know that not everything needs so much thinking. Sometimes, it's better to trust your gut feeling and relax. Life becomes much easier when you don't overthink everything. So, try to enjoy the present moment without too many thoughts, and you'll find more peace and happiness in your everyday life. At last I would like to end this with a beautiful quote -"Overthinking is like trying to solve an unsolvable puzzle with missing pieces. Sometimes, the best solution is to step back, accept the mystery, and let life's beauty unfold on its own terms."

(JCN: Jiyaraje Chouhan)
(RP/Reporter: Mohita Solanki)
RP: What challenges have you faced since becoming Vice House Captain?
JCN: Since taking on the role of Vice House Captain, I have encountered a series of formidable challenges. These challenges primarily revolve around the persistent self-doubt that lingers within me, questioning my capacity for patience, responsibility, discipline, and competence.

RP: Introduce yourself, including your qualifications.
ASA: My name is Avinash Sharma. I hold a B.Tech and LLB degree, and I'm also a student of Clinical Psychology. As I've pursued various fields, I've gained diverse experiences. More than anything, I seek to continuously expand my knowledge. Currently, I have been working in the waste management industry for half a decade.
RP: What has been your journey until now?
ASA: I had a desire to achieve many things in a short span of time. My journey began as a salesman at ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation). I aspire to create a global village and make it the best village ever. My life's goal is to leave this planet in a slightly better condition than I found it.

ASA: The main quality, in my opinion, is consistency and, more importantly, persistence. These two qualities can lead to a successful journey.
RP: What are your thoughts on how AI will impact the future?
ASA: Many people perceive AI in a negative light, but I believe it's going to be amazing and fabulous. Consider that AI can create something if it's given a model to create. However, creativity is something that AI cannot possess, and humans have the wildest creativity. It can never imitate this level of creativity, but we must be ready to adapt to the changes.

During this PTM, teachers discussed various topics with parents in their class while the parents sat at the back of the class and observed the live class. They were able to see how active their child was during the class. Parents were very pleased to see the children engaged in reading and various learning activities.
The children also presented English songs, rhymes, drama, poetry, etc., in front of their parents in the class. Various games were organized for both the parents and the children. The children participated enthusiastically, and in some games, they had to give directions to their parents, which made the PTM very exciting for both the parents and the children.

 Parents Experience
Compared to before, my child has shown a good level of confidence in public speaking. He has also started taking an interest in dancing. This activity-based PTM is a beneficial concept for both parents and teachers. Parents can evaluate and observe their child's confidence level, social involvement, and public interaction. The school should continue this unique activity-based PTM.
Regards,
Jyotsna Mali / Parent of Priyansh Parihar

The initiative taken in parent-teacher meetings, where children participate in various activities in front of their parents, is excellent. It helps involve parents in their children's studies and extracurricular activities, boosting the confidence and communication skills of the children. I feel that PTMs should have similar activities on a regular basis so that parents stay connected to their children's studies and performance. Nice initiative taken by Fabindia School. Kudos to all the school staff and other subordinate staff.

 PTM ( Class I)
The Parents-Teachers meeting appeared to be both engaging and interactive. The commencement of the classroom session with a verse, followed by a thoughtful discussion on the theme of gardens, seemed to have effectively captured the children's attention. The inclusion of creative activities such as drawing, along with the 'bindi game' involving parents, added a delightful dimension to the event. Undoubtedly, this combination provided an enjoyable and enriching experience for all participants. The active involvement of parents in these activities and their evident joy during the game sessions with their children noticeably heightened their satisfaction and overall happiness.
Thank you sincerely,

 Art Integration Project
Our field visit to Ranakpur for the Art Integration Project was an incredible experience. We explored the renowned Jain temples, admired the intricate marble artwork, and delved into the fusion of Jain and Rajput architecture. The trip also taught us about the region's arid landscape and the importance of preserving its cultural heritage. We learned to appreciate the significance of teamwork in documenting and understanding the geographical and cultural features of this remarkable place. Ranakpur, a prominent tourist destination, opened our eyes to the incredible blend of culture and nature, making our learning journey truly remarkable. The lush greenery in this arid region is a pleasant surprise, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Wildlife sightings, including antelopes, add to the area's charm.  Gandhi Jayanti
Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd every year, is a special day in Indian history. It marks the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, a prominent leader in the Indian Independence Movement. To instill values of peace, non-violence, and love for the nation among our young learners, the Pre-Primary Section organized a vibrant and educational Gandhi Jayanti celebration. The Gandhi Jayanti celebration at the Pre-Primary Section was a wonderful educational experience for our young learners. It not only introduced them to the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi but also encouraged values of peace, unity, and love for the country. The teachers also explained about "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" and the charkha, a wheel-like, hand-powered device used to spin thread from fibers. It was popularized by Mahatma Gandhi during the Indian Independence Movement as a symbol of self-reliance. We hope that these early lessons will stay with them throughout their lives.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the teachers, staff, and students who actively participated in making this event a success.

 Beauty of Art
Art is the expression of human creativity. It's a canvas for emotions, thoughts, and ideas. The beauty of art lies in its simplicity and complexity. Art is a beautiful way people express themselves. It's like telling stories with colours, shapes, and feelings. When you look at a painting, sculpture, or even a dance, you can feel the artist's emotions. Art is everywhere, from the pictures you draw in school to the murals on city walls. It's not just for famous artists; anyone can create art. You can use crayons, paper, or anything you like. Art lets you share your thoughts and dreams in a way that words sometimes can't. Viewing and creating art can inspire individuals by connecting them to the beauty and diversity of the world. It can encourage empathy and a deeper understanding of different cultures and perspectives. So, next time you see a piece of art, remember, it's someone's way of sharing a piece of their heart with the world. At last I want to share a quote to all-"Art is not what you see but what you make others see".
