My Experience Green School  Celebration
I was so happy that our school was nominated as a Green school. If I talk about Green school it's not only about Greenery but also it is about 5 segments of nature which are Air, Water, Waste, Food, and Energy. Fabindia school is fitted in all frames of all segments. Overall, we are taking care of nature and the environment in our school so that students can understand its value.
If I asked you how many members in your family someone says there will be some numbers but in reality, we are approximately 8 billion in number because if your neighboring country creates pollution it will directly or indirectly affect you through environmental disturbance. One perfect example of this is "Western Disturbance ". Bhutan is a carbon-negative country but still, it faces environmental disasters. We all should adopt caring for our motherland not only as our habit or duty but also as it should be in our DNA as well. The Indian government passed a slogan for plastic that is the 3 R's method "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle '' in my point of view 3 R's means "Reduce Reduce Reduce".

Attachment: Essence of love

What is attachment? It is an emotional bond shared. It is the feeling of care and affection toward things we like the most. It can be anything that makes us happy and fulfilled. We can say that attachment brings the quality of truthfulness, trustworthiness, and a feeling of gratitude towards others. Each one of us is attached to something or someone that helps us feel comfortable, healthier, and secure.

In the current situation, we see students getting hurt easily because of things happening around them. In this case, children need to get attached to something that will make them happy and give them a feeling of friendliness.  A student is eager to find happiness everywhere.

When in school, a child gets attached to the school boundaries. Yes... School boundaries act as a home for each child studying there. Have you ever felt like that? Just imagine when a child enters school on the very first day and when a child completes schooling on the last day. Both days have something in common - TEARS. But there is something more common. On the first day, they feel separated from what they were attached to. i.e their parents. Similarly, on the last day, they feel the same but, this time; it is mainly the school boundaries and all the fun behind that boundary.

It is good to be attached to our school and its environment as it will stay with us for a longer time. No matter if we can visit our heaven again, the memories created will stay forever and ever. Just a blink of eyes and everything will flashback with a much wider smile on our faces. Keep Smiling..!!

"BEING GOOD"
WHEN BEING SELFISH IS MORE REWARDING.....
Why to be good? In a world where greed, corruption and dishonesty dominate, what will we gain by being good? Why must we do good to others, when being selfish is a whole lot easier?
These questions are immensely important, especially in the time we live in. So if anyone ever desires to know the answer here is a powerful explanation that will not disappoint. The answer comes from Swami Vivekananda, one of the greatest teachers of 20th century and a sage who had realised his own inner self. With each of us lies the divine soul whom we call the almighty. The source of all goodness whose presence is always veiled and blurred by our ego, greed and self-obsession, which form a hard shell around us.
The goal of our life is to break the outer shell and explore the infinite qualities we have within us. Consciously or unconsciously we forget the thin line between good and evil. But, we as human beings are blessed with our conscience which allows us to realise and differentiate between right and wrong and which is morally acceptable.
"Unselfishness is more paying, only people have not the patience to practice it."
-Swami Vivekananda
Practice of these moral virtues and following up the righteous path is a slow process and requires patience. This repeated acts of kindness, goodness and selflessness ultimately built up the habits in us. Which at last breaks the shell of narrow mentality and impurities within us. Doing good to others disciplines our mind and heart.
Thus, the reward of goodness reflects in our personality and shapes our future. Being good may not necessarily results in material gains, but it does lead to a permanent enlightenment. Selfishness, on the other hand may result in immediate benefits temporarily. But, on the contrary it causes us to move away from the light and leads us towards everlasting darkness.

Shri Rata Mahaveeraji Jain Temple, Rajasthan
27th feb’23: The Fabindia School organized an adventurous trip for the students of class II & III . Students visited ‘Shri Rata Mahaveeraji Jain Temple’ located in Bijapur, Rajasthan. This place encompasses green hills, the holy shrine of cool, clean and non-polluting environment. The temple is adorned with foliage and devotional figures. Teachers introduced the students to the art and  culture of Rajasthan. It was not just a tour; it was an experience of the spirituality inside the temple. As teachers, our aim was to take the students in an open environment and make them familiar with the different shades of the historical Art & architecture. The temple is carved out of marble. Idol of Shri Mahaveer Bhagwan is made of bricks, sand and calcium, having bloodish red colour (rata) and hence also called as Rata Mahaveerji, about 135 cm in height, the idol is in padmasana position.
This was a very enthusiastic trip for us maintaining proper discipline & care mostly by Rajeshree ma’am, Kavita ma’am, Richa and Khushi ma’am. Jafar sir and I were for the overall care. As it was the very first trip for me I was very excited to have a look mostly at the architecture. As an Art learner, I always have a little easy access to art and esthetics and it mesmerized me about the enrichments of Indian culture. India has plenty forms of creations that describe the core of our mythology and stories like Kalpasutra, Pragyaparamita, Shib Jataka and many others tales including Ramayana and Mahabharata. There are 24 tirthankaras in Jainism. They don’t believe in God but believe in rebirth of tirthankars who are the spiritual teachers who show the right path for the people. On the wall of the Jain temple, you can see those tales depicting the different state of Mahaveer and many interactions with others.

School Picnic

Students of Classes II and III visited Rata Mahaviraji Mandir which is a Jain temple. This place is in midst of green hills, the holy shrine of a cool, clean, and non-polluting environment. The temple is highly decorated with foliage and holy figures. Teachers introduced the students to the culture of Rajasthan and its art. It was not just a picnic, it was an experience of spirituality. As teachers, we aimed to make students open to the environment and engage them with different shades of the historical place.

Leadership and Adventure Camp at the school
The Fabindia School, Bali, has merged the cultural performance with an overwhelming Night Camp with their students.
Feb 25, 2023: The Fabindia School organized a night camp on the school campus to encourage the students of class four to class eight in the presence of all the teachers and staff to maintain precautions, and having food facilities at night and in the morning. It switched new energy to revitalize the student’s mental and physical health throughout the day and night. The school had organized a list of plays and fun which were successfully carved out and enjoyed by students. The list contains Sports, Games, Art, Dance, Movie and so many fun activities. Bone fire, Football, Basketball, Cricket, Art and Movie were the special attractions. This prior planned event received a glimpse of multiplicity by everyone’s efforts over incessant seven days. Teachers said it is not only a night camp but also got students into a new approach of leading an open space together with disciplines led only by students in building each leadership qualities. It was everyone’s engagement that leads the school a little step towards shining.
The day is supposed to have started with school disciplines and sports driving the event forward.
A set of six team matches had come up with a duration of one and a half hours of playtime. Selective students were the main leaders of each tournament. Rahul Kalmolta, HOD of Physical Education, said, ‘Games and sports are activities that enhance the leadership quality, time management, trustworthiness and versatility of a student which drive them for a healthy lifestyle’.
Another interesting workshop, held on the day, was ‘wall painting’. It mesmerized the children with their engagement of drawings, brushes, and colors depending on the theme of nature and animals. Painting, through a big wall, helped students open up new ideas and visualizations of a creative corner of their minds. Generally, students were habitual in using small pieces of paper to paint, not the walls. The decision taken by the school had made their day enjoyable for learning. The school provided colors to students and they painted the wall with an authentic approach as they are. The concept of taking students outside in a free environment was to provide a large and open space to explore their hidden strengths which they may not have observed yet. This program was directed by Usha Parmar, Richa Malviya, and Subrata Sarkar (Kolkata). The Principal, Rajeshree Shihag, of the School has motivated and inspired students to enrich themselves in every aspect.
Meanwhile, the Dance has touched the peak of the excitement involving kids and other interested students. The Dance teacher, Neeraj Birawat, shared that Dance has many dimensions and values for the students as it helps to fit in terms of mental and physical normality by creating rhythmic body movements with music. One also can secure a niche in Dance further in life. Dance is a good friend of performing art which also was performed by students at night inside the school campus.
The playing schedule combines with a movie show in the mid-time after having all day’s activities. The movie title was ‘Interstellar’, a science-fiction plot based on time travel and space. The theater room was selected in the pre-primary school for all the students presented there.
All the teachers and students were scheduled to move to the jungle near the school campus for the special attractions in the form of a performance depicting the local tribal culture in a secure environment. Students previously arranged a setup inside the jungle according to the theme performance. It took seven days to build up that arrangement. All the sports teachers contributed a lot towards the best outlook.
Morning Yoga and Meditation
There was plenty of memory yet to be noted here. Being part of this charming event throughout the day, I enjoyed it a lot with all the students and teachers. We spent the whole night setting fire in the middle of our sitting circle. It was enjoyable and explorable with new thoughts and activities. Students also learned so many things from a day-long Night Camp they shared.

BE POSITIVE
"BE POSITIVE", is a very common phrase that we hear in our day-to-day life. Whenever a person is nervous by the pressure of upcoming events or by some failure, their words motivate him to perform better next time.
One of the reasons for the success of Great Personalities in the world is their positive attitude. These personalities have faced many challenges or failures, but their positive attitude kept them alive in this competitive world. The way we look at our life decides how our life will be.
As students face many situations where their mind is diverted by nervousness and stress. Exams, Sports, etc. competitions, and projects, all mount a burden on our brains. But our attitude comes to our rescue. We should just keep in our mind that 'I can do the task'. We should never be afraid of competition, but we shouldn't ever underestimate anybody.
We should be serious about our aims and yet enjoy our life at the same time. Because " Life is not only living but it's the positive way of living. "
So my request to everybody is that,  " BE POSITIVE " & keep in mind that  " ALL IS WELL  & WILL BE WELL. "
