Importance of Festivals in Our Life
Festivals are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives with our loved ones. They give us a distraction from our day to day, the exhausting routine of life, and give us some inspiration to remember the important things and moments in life.  Festivals were started to pass the legends, knowledge and traditions onto the next generation. They bring excitement in life.
All festivals are cultural in one way or another.  There are many types of cultural festivals such as National, Religious etc. They all serve the purpose of bringing happiness to our lives and strengthen our sense of community.
National Festivals:  They connect us as a people of a nation.  National festivals connect citizens to important moments of a nation’s history such as our independence day. They solidify patriotic spirits in society.
Religious Festivals: Religious festivals are important for families.  To keep this simple we can all agree that religious festivals help us to teach principles and ethics to our next generations.  All different religious festivals bring the same message of love, tolerance and understanding.  On these occasions, we express our gratitude to God, for the special thing or event that originated on this particular festival.
Overall in simple terms, all the festivals are related to harmony, peace and happiness.

Gargi Jangid/ UKG

Humility
Humility is the state of being humble. It is a virtue. It is the quality of keeping one’s self under control. It is the opposite of being proud. A person who possesses this quality is humble and meek. A humble person is the master of himself. He is not stubborn. He is ready to accept other people’s advice and learn from their experience. He is not annoyed with anybody. A proud person gets angry easily when something offends him.
A humble person does not get angry easily. He admits his mistakes and shortcomings politely. A proud person does not admit his faults easily. He gets annoyed and blames others for his own mistakes. A proud person is stubborn and angry. He does not value another person’s suggestions and ideas. We must make our children humble in life because it spreads harmony among people. Humility makes a person more sensitive to understand other situations. So first we have to be humble towards children if we want them to be humble with others.

Swami Vivekananda
Swami Vivekananda was a great religious personality in the world. He was born on 12th January 1863 in culcutta . While Swami Vivekananda was in America, some boys were standing on the bridge and trying to shoot eggshells that were floating in the water. They failed almost at every try, Vivekananda who was watching them from a distance went close to them, took the gun and fired twelve times, and every time he fired, he hit the eggshell. The inquisitive boys asked him how he did it? He replied "Whatever you are doing, put your whole mind on it. If you are shooting, your mind should be only on the target. Then you will never miss. If you are learning your lessons, think only of the lesson. In my country boys are taught to do this."

Quality
Quality is an essential value in our life. It is an important aspect of one’s life. Quality makes a person’s life special because all we know his/her about character, behaviour, and attitude regarding society and nation, such an example was our former President Dr A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thought. The quality of your thought depends on the people whom you meet in your life.”
For the success of an organization different important elements are required like skills, knowledge, ability, objectives, aims, human resources or power and quality from establishing to control.
Quality is an essential parameter which helps organizations outshine their competitors and survive the fierce competition.
We need friends of good quality in our life. They help us in many ways like they help us to understand the value of time, thing etc, they guide us in a difficult situation. Good quality friends encourage and motivate us.
You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want. It is only possible by your own qualities which make it possible. It develops an attitude of gratitude for everything that happens in your life. So, try to improve your abilities in good quality, which makes you special in others life. Achieving quality can make yourself and others feel good inside.

Patience
Patience is the trait to accept delays, problems or suffering without becoming angry or annoyed with anyone. When you decide to do something different, it is only patience that gives you an inner strength to move on and stand against all odds. It brings an inner peace into your life. It makes you an optimism person and above all, it helps you to deal with stress and difficult situation. It helps you to remain healthy and stress-free.
Patience is that value that helps us to stand or remain calm in all situations in spite of any difficulty or problems. It helps us when we are trying to overcome our fears or maybe we trying to do something different from others. Patience is one value that has a positive influence in your life and helps you to achieve success in life.
I would like to end with a quote by Joyce Meyer “Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting”.

Curiosity: A Leading Ladder to Learning
A few days back, I was listening to a podcast conversation between Mr Sandeep Dutt sir and Mr Lakshya Datta sir. In this conversation a beautiful quote arised "learning is the appetite for curiosity". I was inspired by the ultimate connection between Curiosity and its need for continuous learning. Curiosity simply means desire to know and when we have a desire towards something we try to learn more about it. Curiosity also helps to build a healthy environment for continuous learning, regularity, sharpens our brain, increases our knowledge and more. moreover, a curious mind leads to creative thinking and innovative ideas which results in great achievements. I strongly believe that curiosity develops when we have a positive attitude towards our surrounding and its people. so, stay curious and keep learning.

Hard Work v/s Smart Work
We have seen people debating in many places – “Does Smart Work leads to Success or Hard Work leads to Success?” It’s a right topic that needs an insight because people get confused on their approach in performing tasks.
Smart Work helps a person to complete a task efficiently – more work in less hours with less resources and reduced efforts.
Hard Work also helps a person to complete a task successfully – but time consumption will be more and there is no assurance if the task can be completed with less resource. The person who does hard work has to put a lot of efforts to complete a task.
In short, with Hard Work we can complete a task successfully; but in order to gain fame among people and get recognition Smart Work matters a lot. Smart workers prioritize their tasks, complete the most important ones first and the rest later. This makes their job easy since they can act towards a solution depending on the priority. Smart Work lets you understand the time consume even before performing the task. With a plan on what needs to be done, smart workers reach the success pole soon. In the sense, working hard in a smart way will lead to success in any task assigned to us.
So, be it school, college or job, we should learn how to complete a task in less time with less resource and at the same time reach end point without flaws. We should continually improve our interpersonal skills, communication skills, time management skills and many more skills to apply our Smart Work and Hard Work in the right places in the right way at the right time.

TIME
Time is precious in everyone's life. We should not waste time in any way. Time is the most valuable and precious thing in the universe. We can earn the amount of money we spend, but we can never get back the time we have lost. However, this makes our time more valuable than money. Hence, we must utilize our time in the most possible effective way. Also, we should utilize our time for ourselves and our loved ones. We should also use the time for the good of other people around us. This helps us and our society to grow towards a superior tomorrow. For utilizing the time, the best and effective utilization of time includes setting goals, preparing work lists , prioritizing tasks , taking sufficient amount of sleep and various other factors. Most people do not realize how valuable time is until they lose it. Besides, there are so many people in the world who prioritize money over time. But they don't realize the fact that time provides them the opportunity and change to get money. Apart from this time has given us wealth and happiness. Time is an important resource in the life of a student. How a student plans this resource determines how well or how badly he / she will do in his / her studies. This is why good time management skills are crucial for success in life. The time that passes away never returns. Time is priceless, no one can buy it , its the only thing that can make anyone zero and anyone hero in just a moment.

                                                                                Courage
If I will ask all of you if you are fearful of anything in life? I am sure the answer will be a big yes. We all know that fear is a feature built-in every human. We all are fearful of many things in life, such as exams, career, future, marriage, life challenges, etc. And there comes the role of courage.
Courage is a necessity to overcome fear and achieve the desired goal. Risk is one important factor that can completely turn your life towards a new direction in a moment. And that risk is pushed into your guts by courage. There is a difference between being fearless or being courageous. Courageous is not just fearless but also ready to take any kind of risk to achieve what he/she wants. Courage not only makes you brave enough for risky situations, but it also boosts your confidence to the alpha level. It helps you to speak your heart, to tear your fear apart. It makes you limitless. It helps you to live the life of your choice.
Deep inside our heart, we all know that every single step in life takes courage to accomplish.
For instance:- i. It takes courage to slap your lazy head and wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning to study for exams.
It takes courage to start a business from scratch and live the life of a struggle. It takes a lot of courage in life to speak what you want to speak or do what you want to do.
Winston Churchill once said, “Courage is what it takes to stand up; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen”. So courage is very essential in our life.

Tomorrow is not today, Today is not yesterday
The great Buddha once said, “The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly” Unfortunately, humanity today doesn’t always conform to that statement. The human race generally hates chaos and disorganization in any shape or form. That being said, humans love to plan ahead and look to the past to avoid future mistakes. Typically this is fine to do, since everybody does it at some point in their life, but its when you begin to overthink the events of the past or the future then it becomes a problem.
When you overthink and stress about events in the past then you are unable to move on and it begins to control what you say and do every day in your life. While overthinking the future doesn’t have such dramatic effects, it does create more stress, which is not good for both your mental and physical health. Life moves too fast to be worrying about the past or the future, so just stick to the present because you may end up regretting it later on in life. If you’re always planning ahead and making plans for what you are doing tomorrow, then you are probably doing today what you had planned yesterday, meaning that you aren’t actually living for today, but for tomorrow. That's not living in the moment, not even remotely close.
The past is something that we all dwell on once in a while, but there are some people out there who cannot let go of the past and thus are controlled by it. A normal person typically moves on from the past and leaves it behind them, but some may become traumatized by something that may have happened in their past or may feel like they may be judged because of their past. But this thinking is untrue. As we cannot go and rewind to change the things in past. So nothing to regret about it. Just let go of it. Breathe, restore, reshape and come back harder and stronger. Live every inch of the moment in the present. Be an Emperor of your own life.

The quality of your thought depends on the pe outshine, tecnology, ople whom you meet in your life.”

TECHNOLOGY
The technology is the heart of human progress in the world of today. We have been witnessing the marvelous benefits of technology in our lives. It has become  the part of parcel of our lives. In every walk of our life, we are deeply influenced by the impacts of technology. Technology is the use of knowledge to create something to enhance life. All the equipments used in our daily lives are  by the product of the technology.
Simply we can say that technology is the scientific knowledge used to produce machines and devices that can be used to provide different services and make our lives convenient and easy.
The technology had also caused depletion of natural resources and many health issues growing with the increase in technology. Technology had also caused unemployment because the work which was once done manually is being done with the help of machines. The excessive use of technology had also reduced physical activities.
So we can say that technology is a curse as well as boon.

Path to success in life
Your path to success is something which you must create for yourself. One of the biggest key to success is to love what you do. You already have motivation, inspiration and  commitment to support you  from the outset and nobody else can really tell you what will make you happy and nobody can tell you the best way for you to go about creating the life you really want . Success doesn't happen by accident.Success happens when you decide what you want, you make a plan to go after it and you follow through on the plan until you have created the result you are after. There is one key point in that which escapes  most people-you decide what you want, you are the one  who must determine your path to success in life because it is you who must decide what constitutes success in your life. There are billions spend around the world each year by people who are desperately trying to become more successful. They focus on strategies but fail to realise that strategies cannot help them  if they do not really know what they want. You cannot walk on your path to success in life until you have built that path and you cannot build your path to success in life until you know your desired destination.

COVID -19 (NOVEL CORONA VIRUS)
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.  Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.
The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow)

Failure is a Stepping Stone to Success
“Never let Success get to your head; never let failure get to your heart- Anonymous”
To put in simpler words, failure is inevitable. Therefore one should not get disheartened if we fail. We should not be downtrodden with failure instead we should stand up and keep going. If we get success we should not build an inflated ego because if we face any failure in future it will become harder for us to cope with it.
We should always keep in mind that success & failure go hand in hand. If we don’t fail, we will never be aware of our shortcomings. If we see failure is really a stepping stone to success. Mostly all of us always have a negative aspect of failure. We should change our way of thinking towards failure and with a positive outlook, we should learn by failures. We should consider failure as success and take it is an opportunity.
We should always keep faith in ourselves take failures & setbacks as a normal part of life. Failures always help us to improve & encourage us to work harder to achieve success. If we are wise we should always take advantage of failures.

World Braille Day
World Braille Day is celebrated on 4th January since 2019, is observed to raise awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication in the full realization of the human rights for blind and partially sighted people.
What is Braille?
Braille is a tactile representation of alphabetic and numerical symbols using six dots to represent each letter and number, and even musical, mathematical and scientific symbols. Braille (named after its inventor in 19th century France, Louis Braille) is used by blind and partially sighted people to read the same books and periodicals as those printed in a visual font.
Braille is essential in the context of education, freedom of expression and opinion, as well as social inclusion, as reflected in Article 2 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
I would like to quote the words of Armistead Maupin 'Like I've always said, love wouldn't be blind if the braille weren't so damned much fun.'

Quality
Quality is a thing of excellence of something as compared or measured against other similar things and may be understood differently by different people. Quality determines how much and how well children learn and the extent to which their education translates.
Every educator wants that their students have high standard and quality work. They always try to plan good lessons so their students can always do their best.
Achieving quality can make yourself and others feel happy and good inside. We can also work together to get quality work and quality to care for the world. There should be always positive things in our words and thoughts need to be of high quality, there is no place for negative words. Its means not giving up of yourself, you need to believe that they can do it and educators must tell this to their students.
And also in our circumstances, we need a friend who will stand by you when all will against. To get excellent in work we need a better quality of everything and for that, we practice and also educator can encourage their students for better quality work and students will give their best.

Hard Work
Hard work and punctuality are essential for a happy and successful life. They help in meeting the desired targets of one’s life. It plays a very important role in the life of a student. A student’s life is the building block of his future. He must practice punctuality and hard work in his daily life in order to achieve his goals and be successful.
These days, there is a lot of pressure on students. They are expected to be the masters in all fields. The cut-throat competition in their life cannot be left apart. They can overcome all this with organised work which adds to their efficacy. Organised work and punctuality go hand in hand. If a student does everything in time, by making and following a time-schedule ethically, he will never lag behind.
Hard work, which is the key to success, will help a student to enhance his skills. It will also increase his confidence which is a must for all students. A student must know the importance of time. The time that has once gone never comes back is an old saying and a student must keep it in mind. A student must know how to manage his precious time because student-life is the most important part of one’s life. And here if time is lost, it means everything is lost.
He should not be taken in by others’ views. Rather he should be his own manager. And a good manager is one who does the right thing at the right time and at the right place. So, all of these three issues should be kept in mind by a student if he wants to establish good grounds for his future.
Prakash Dangi,
Success
Success is something that we dream to achieve which is totally different for each one of us. It gives us a feeling of happiness or satisfaction when we gain it. It provides true meaning to our lives.
In order to succeed, the first thing that you need is to have a goal which needs to be attained. It can be anything towards which you have a particular interest or passion.
Secondly, you need to strive for it, being a passionate dreamer. Concentrate more and take up all the risks and pains to achieve it. Work damn hard for it. Give up everything for your dreams but never give up on your dreams. Everything starts with a small dream, so you have to be a dreamer at first. You know that just being a dreamer can do nothing because dreamers cannot be achievers but just dreamers. Only a few achieve their dreams or goals.
You need to be a believer because nothing will happen until you believe.  Others won’t believe but they will somehow make you doubt on your dreams. Always remember those dreams belong to you and it’s your responsibility to turn it into your reality. Others may or may not support you, you will be all alone but just know the path towards success is less crowded and you will be the one there and no one else.
The next thing you need to know is that hard work pays off. If you want to get something you need to give something at first. Here what you give is your hard work, your energy, your efforts, your time, your tears and it is going to pay off. You need to have your courage to handle, your patience and persistence.
Nothing happens overnight. Everything takes time. Everything starts from nothing. So you need to make it out of scratch. You cannot build an empire in just one day. You need to hold on through your hardships and pain. Successful people know they are going to be successful no matter what,  that’s the faith that they have in their hearts. You should know that success is destined and your goal is your final destination.

Mathematical Operations

Addition, division, multiplication and subtraction.
These are the four mathematical operations.
If you are not good in these operations.
You are not good in calculation.
If you are not good in calculation.
You cannot solve simple mathematical problem.
Due to this problem you have tension.
Due to this tension you go to tuition.
But now a day’s tuition is a fashion.
So my dear student doesn’t go to tuition.

How motivation is important in our life
So what is motivation, exactly? Author Steven Pressfield has a great line in his book, The War of Art, which I think gets at the core of motivation. To paraphrase Pressfield, “At some point, the pain of not doing it becomes greater than the pain of doing it.”
In other words, at some point, it is easier to change than to stay the same. It is easier to take action and feel insecure at the gym than to sit still and experience self-loathing on the couch. It is easier to feel awkward while making the sales call than to feel disappointed about your dwindling bank account.
This, I think, is the essence of motivation. Every choice has a price, but when we are motivated, it is easier to bear the inconvenience of action than the pain of remaining the same. Somehow we cross a mental threshold—usually after weeks of procrastination and in the face of an impending deadline—and it becomes more painful to not do the work than to actually do it.

Goals of our life
What is life? Life is a golden opportunity that god has given us. We are role models for our own life. Actually, life is a collection of some memories, beliefs, dreams, struggles and emotions. We always think about our goals for a successful life. “Success is not an accident. It is the result of your attitude and your attitude is a choice. Success is a matter of choice not name”. Remember, “ Life is different from a teacher because a teacher teaches a lesson first and then takes the exam, but life takes the exam first and then teaches a lesson”. Life is a name for love, dedication, happiness, care, affection, respect and forgiveness. We have to make goals of our life. We can design our life as five parts:-
1) Physical goals- ‘Health is wealth’. We should do exercises and eat proper and healthy food.
2) Financial goals- It deals with our career, money and achievement.

3) Social goals- It deals with our family, our
relations and society.
4) Mental goals- It deals with our intellectual powers, skills, our hobbies, etc.
5) Spiritual goals- It deals with loyalty, peace, confidence, prosperity, beliefs and gratitude.
“When we want something, the entire universe conspires in helping us to achieve it”. In other words, ‘life tests us all the time'. Life is worthless without hope.

New Year’s Resolution
Every student often sets resolutions on New Year. Basically a New Year resolution is made when one wants to correct the mistakes they have done the past year or do something in a more organized manner.
Students specially set their objectives regarding their studies and to brighten their future. A good student always learns lessons from the mistakes committed in the present or past year and on the eve of New Year pledges to oneself to rectify all mistakes once did in the face of ocean of other activities.
A student often procrastinate studies and uses time carelessly and indulges in the wanton activities which adversely affect their studies. It is very necessary for a student to set the target every year and try every waking moment to get the desired and set target. Every student must dream to do something productive because dreaming and materializing dreams is akin to success.
New Year is something which brings excitement in the life of everyone. But it is really very special for the students. They are the ones who are the future. New Year Resolution for Students will prove to be extremely meaningful when conveyed to them in an interesting way.
Have some points while making your resolution.
1. New Year is a new beginning where we can start things freshly.
2. Life gets interesting when we try new things.
3. We should make changes in ourselves that enhances our personality.
4. A New Year Resolution is the best way to boost up our ideas of life.
5. New Year Resolution helps to eliminate our bad habits and take in the good habits.
A quote which is motivational for making New Year’s Resolution:
“Life’s not about expecting, hoping and wishing,
It’s about doing, being and becoming.”
