KINDNESS
Kindness means being thoughtful. It is taught to the followers of every religion. It is a quality that allows us to make another person feel safe around us. It is one of the factors that connects us with another person. There are a million ways to be kind. Some of them are :
Be a good listener, help someone, try to protect the peace of another person, and so on. We can forget someone who was rude to us, but will never forget a person who was kind to us during our difficult times. When you are kind you have the power to feel and understand what the other person might be going through. Kindness is not only limited to human beings, but all the living creatures on earth. Nature also shows kindness in its own way. As it is always said, what goes around comes back. So try to be kind in every situation. At last I would like to conclude by saying, if you ever get a chance to be kind, just do it. It might mean nothing to you, but it can have a huge impact on the other person because we never know what battles the other person has to fight.
The world needs more kind people. So if you can't find one, be one!

Kindness to Animals
One day during the summer vacations, I decided to get my football from the garage. As I looked for the ball, I noticed something in the corner. It was a small litter of the most adorable looking puppies. The mother dog had left them all alone as she was away in search of food. The moment she returned, the puppies happily ran to her warm body and started cuddling with her. I realized that animals too had the motherly instinct and protected their young ones without being taught. The pups were all of different shades of brown, black, and white.
I started visiting them every day and even got them a rug to help them stay warm during the winter. The children from my society also enjoyed playing with the pups. The pups soon grew healthy and strong with the food they were receiving from the society members. By this time, I had made many friends, and we had formed a group and took turns looking after the pups. The pups would run around like a pack of wolves, barking at strangers. After a couple of months, four were found to be missing. After a long wait, one black pup returned to the building with a broken leg. The society members got it treated. From then on, everyone started showing concern for the animals. Some volunteered to get the dogs inoculated against rabies. Some decided to adopt them as pets. In this way, we all learned a very valuable lesson: animals too are living things. We should not hurt or abuse them. If we show love and kindness to them, they will be our best friends and our most loyal and faithful companions.

 Hidden Addictions
The worst type of addiction is a hidden one. Reports have shown that addictions of various kinds are spreading among teenagers. This constant need for dopamine release only leads to the downfall of society. When one starts to hide an addiction, it becomes more prolonged and lethal to our mental and physical health. Open talks about addictions need to be organized to help teenagers overcome them. Vilification of the addiction should be promoted rather than that of an individual. Self-control and Discipline should be preached to help them. The kids are the future of society, and the future will look much better when the focus on mental and physical health becomes an important agenda.

The Importance of Discipline in a Student's Life
If students follow discipline effectively, they can manage their time significantly better. Discipline teaches students to be focused and motivated in their studies and other aspects of life. Students with strong aims are typically more focused, but without discipline, it becomes challenging for them to maintain focus.
Good discipline fosters a positive attitude in students, which is essential for success in life. Discipline also instills confidence and eagerness in students.
Furthermore, disciplined students exhibit more self-control. Self-control is crucial when interacting with teachers or elder people. Without discipline, students may lack self-control, leading to unpleasant situations.

 Golden Journey
For the past two years, I have been a part of The Fabindia School, which has become my second home. Now, only a few days remain before I close this chapter of my life forever. During my time here, I've learned numerous life lessons and gained the knowledge necessary to secure my future. Once, someone asked me what Fabindia is, and I replied, "A place where you can live without fear, surrounded by the beauty of nature." Every day I spent here was as amazing as the sand dunes of Jaisalmer, as beautiful as the journey to Kumbhalgarh, as enjoyable as the events that occurred, and as lovely and fulfilling as my time in Delhi. In these four lines, I've expressed all the trips I experienced with my friends and teachers. Similarly, Fabindia has shown me the path to my future, guiding me on what to do and how to do it.
I believe I will always remember these days filled with fun, enjoyment, and happiness. As a member of the editorial board, I experienced and learned many things. This chapter of my life is invaluable to me, and I want to thank all the teachers for helping me soar high with their love and support.
Ridhima Ojha / XII
 HONESTY & RESPECT
HONESTY and RESPECT play an important role in everyone's life, and they are characteristics that are visible with open eyes, like an open book. Being considered an honest person by society is one of the best compliments one can dream of in life. An honest person will always be respected by everyone. An honest person enjoys a light-hearted feeling because they don't experience the stress and tension of lying. Furthermore, a truthful person can easily generate trust with other people. If a person is dedicated to their work or profession with honesty, their work will be admired by all, and they will earn respect.
Often, children try to get away from trouble by telling lies. Therefore, the duty of parents and teachers is to make them understand that honesty is the best policy. Students should be taught that harsh truth, no matter how hurtful, is far better than the white lies that profoundly impact the character and create a bad perception in society. Instead of rebuking a child for dishonesty, educators can regularly interact with them about the values of honesty in the social sphere. Honesty is the bedrock on which relationships stand, and mutual trust, as well as respect, can be built.
Respect is earned through our actions, and it is important to remember that respect is a two-way street. If you respect a person, then the person also respects you. The three vital things to have respect for are: respecting oneself, respecting others, and respecting belongings. Students should be taught to respect, which will enable them to exist well in human life. Without respect and honesty, it's very difficult to make friends or build a successful career.
*HONESTY MAKES US GLOW AND RESPECT MAKES US BOW DOWN*"

 Jungle Visit
Our recent jungle visit was an enlightening journey into the heart of nature. Amidst towering sheesham and bamboo trees, we discovered the intricate dynamics of the forest ecosystem. Observing the canopy's protective embrace, we learned about the essential roles played by each tree in supporting diverse life forms.
The visit underscored the interdependence of flora and fauna, highlighting how animals rely on specific plants for survival. We marveled at the unique characteristics of indigenous trees, understanding their contributions to biodiversity, water regulation, and habitat creation.
 A Journey from Train
Train journeys offer a joy that airplanes can't match. The rhythmic sound of the train and the changing scenery create a unique sense of adventure. Unlike airplanes, trains allow passengers to immerse themselves in the journey, observing the landscape, interacting with fellow travelers, and experiencing the charm of train stations. Train travel is more relaxed, providing time for reflection, reading, or simply enjoying the view. While airplanes prioritize speed, train journeys prioritize experience. The slower pace allows for a deeper connection to the surroundings and a sense of nostalgia. From the bustling platforms to the cozy compartments, train travel offers a sense of camaraderie and excitement that is hard to find elsewhere. It's not just about reaching the destination; it's about enjoying the journey itself.

 Examen
A tyrant stands before me, its power unknown and hidden till the dawn of battles. I can only prepare from the stories told to me by the warriors who fought it. I am not the only one fighting, surrounded by many brethren but they have their battles. My sword that is my pen wrecks havoc on the battlefield. Neuronic reactions quicker than most can muster. After the bloodshed, my hands reek of ink, and still shiver from what I have done. An exercise of epicaricacy surrounds my thoughts.  It is not my arrogance but rather the pride I possess for my doings.

 Kindness
To live in an ideal society, it is essential to engage in random acts of kindness. These acts help maintain joy and harmony among everyone, impacting not only the recipient but also the giver, who experiences relief and joy. Kindness encompasses qualities like love, affection, happiness, care, and empathy, reaching beyond classification and boundaries. It involves both physical and psychological support and is not limited to special occasions. Every act of kindness contributes to a positive reputation, fostering positive relationships with others. Regardless of financial status, anyone can exhibit generosity. Kindness extends to all living beings, including animals.

 Rise Strong: Empowering Women
Women, why are you so terrified?
Why are you so petrified?
You need to be strong
When you have done no wrong.
Step forward and prove that you are not backward.
You have taken too long to develop your voice and be empowered.
Now, don't be silent; you are great as a leader,
The feeder of your families.
You are the most beautiful phenomenon of God,
Someone who can never be compared.
Keep smiling, be yourself, for you are great

 Empowering Women Through Education
In the pursuit of gender equality, education stands as a formidable catalyst for change. Acknowledging the transformative power of education in women's lives is crucial. By investing in accessible and quality education, societies uplift women, providing them with tools to break the chains of inequality. Education equips women with skills, knowledge, and confidence, fostering independence and leadership. Beyond individual empowerment, educated women contribute significantly to community development and global progress. As educators, we play a pivotal role in promoting inclusive learning environments that empower women to shape a future where equality is not just a goal but a reality.
