 Ambedkar Jayanti
Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated every year on 14th April in remembrance of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar. It was his birthday. He had done so much to bring his nation and his community ahead. He belongs to the Dalit community, which in the colonial period faced so much untouchability and social discrimination. So to reduce all these and to end all discrimination, he fought for all the people from a backward background. He was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer, and political leader who chaired the committee that drafted the constitution of India. He was also the first minister of law and justice. He had done so much for his community in the education field, too. Once he said that 'be educated, be agitated, and be organised'

 Earth Day
Every year, on April 22nd, we celebrate Earth Day to show how much we love and care for our planet. Earth is our home. It gives us air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, and beautiful nature to enjoy. But our Earth is in danger because of pollution, cutting down too many trees, and wasting resources. That’s why we must take care of it. We can help by doing small things like: Planting trees, Saving water and electricity, Throwing garbage in the dustbin, Recycling, and reusing things.
If we all work together, we can keep our Earth clean, green, and beautiful. Let’s promise to love and protect our planet every day, not just on Earth Day.
