Memories at The Fabindia School: I love Fabindia so much. It's the school that has all types of activities, not just academics. One of the most favourite memories was with Putney Group. I used to enjoy all the activities with them. Other than this we used to make pen friends and write letters to them. It was also a great moment. For me, Fabindia was like a second home I never gave any excuses to take any leave. I used to enjoy all drama activities, sports activities, forest adventures, picnics, and of course studies. Fabindia has provided me with a wonderful environment and opportunity to learn and grow academically and to secure the place where I am today.
The message for students is that “Life never gave me anything for granted, I worked hard and achieved everything, so work hard and be patient towards your dream. You will reach it one day.”

Mathematics is enough words to create confusion among students, and all of us tried to make such kinds of projects which can relate maths to real-life problems. Students understood how to use a clinometer in land surveying and mapping. Basic uses of 3D shapes. Use of angles in daily life and how to use their properties
As an educator, I learned that if we relate subjects to daily life, students can understand them in a better way. If we give them opportunities or platforms for performing activities, maybe we can build their foundation of the subject strongly.

The students of Classes VII & VIII made a magazine that has creative writing, poems, jokes, riddles, quotes, etc. It made them think and write things by themselves to improve their writing skills.
The students of Classes VI & VII enacted a play on Nasruddhin's Aim for English Exhibition. The play was full of fun, thrill, suspense, and intelligence which engrossed the audience with laughter and suspense.
By doing this play, the children learned to develop social and cognitive skills and gained the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences. Learning by doing was the main aim of the Mathematics Exhibition.  Speak to me I will learn, teach me I will understand, guide me to do I will remember it forever.  Keeping this in mind, students of Class II - V participated in the exhibition and made wonderful, amazing models on various topics such as types of angles, Division, area and volume, working Model of clock, square root device, place value model, Rotational symmetry  3 D and 2 D shapes and many more.
Team-wise students were separated which helped them to develop social skills, leadership qualities, and teamwork. Students researched and keenly took part in preparing the model. Each team presented and explained the models made by them on different topics. While working on models students understood various concepts of Maths by doing it themselves.  Children got an opportunity to communicate their thoughts with others. Students explained their models in detail. It was indeed an exhibition that gave them exposure and confidence to present their thoughts and minds.
I had a wonderful experience working with students. Each student who was with me contributed beautifully to the Maths exhibition and they were appreciated by the guests. Students came up with different ideas to make projects and they made them by themselves with little guidance.

Cultural Function
