The School Weekly 16th May 2022

 News and Events
Due to the scorching heat, the summer holidays have begun a bit earlier than the scheduled time. Unit Test-1 was conducted, evaluated and given for corrections. To maintain the regularity in studies students have been assigned Holiday Homework, homework has been designed in a manner which will leave them with ample time to enjoy and spend time with their family.

Educators worked for an extra week towards planning, learning and upgrading their professional competencies. They too have left for the much-awaited Summer Break to rejuvenate and come back refreshed for the next term.

The administrative team is in full action to work on the repair and maintenance of the campus. We plan to bring a refreshed look to the campus and a couple of surprises in terms of infrastructure and upgraded learning spaces.

Aim to Succeed
Every person must set an aim in their life to make it meaningful . If you want a successful life or if you want to do something  in your  life then you just need an aim. Aim is very important in life because an aimless person has nothing to do in their life. Generally we choose aim by our inspiration, when we choose our aim, our parents, teachers and relatives help us to achieve it. Sometimes we choose the wrong aim and life becomes difficult. So when we choose our aim we must think very deeply. My aim is to become doctor so I read books about human body parts and it's functions and I watch videos on YouTube about how body functions. I prepare the plan then study accordingly, so while choosing the aim you should know that how will you achieve that.

Cooperation
Cooperation is the special bond between two or more persons to maintain creativity in their work. Cooperation means to work together to achieve a common goal. Cooperation and competition both play an important role in our life. Competition forces us to improve our services and products hence benefits us . But cooperation makes us work together faster; it increases our patience and makes us compatible with our partners. We all know that one plus one is two hence greater than one, this means working in group makes your work greater and complete it faster. Eg. If I have to find a book in a library alone it would take me longer time but if I and my friends look for it together then it would be easier to search in less time. However in comparison cooperation is more effective than competition; it benefits not only a single person but the whole society. So everyone should be taught to co-operate not to compete.

How can you overcome fear?
Life is so unreal for everyone, especially when it comes to these days. Being surrounded by our loved ones is the most realistic situation we can ask for. This brings some good feeling and internal strength in keeping ourselves strong.
One of the most over exaggerated terms is “FEAR”. There is no one in this universe, without this feeling. Some over come fear very fast whereas others fall into the trap. Yes.. it is a trap. When we say FEAR, it means False Evidence Appearing Real, feeling of not being able to perform, express or face the situation is FEAR.
While in School, students face this issue a lot more frequently, unable to ask questions in the classroom, unable to answer, unable to speak on a stage, unable to lead a team on projects, unable to share any kind of pressure or bullying and many more.
Students are like flowers, they have to be nurtured all the time, else they will lose their essence. Being Comfortable is the first thing a student should be able to do. For this, they must talk to someone, share whatever they are going through. Children must keep in mind that there is no one watching you or judging you, they should be able to work comfortably, they shouldn't get bothered over such exaggerated terms.

Effective Tips to Stay Healthy During Summers
Here are a few quick tips that you can follow to avoid suffering from the wrath of diseases in the summer season:
1. Stay Hydrated:
We cannot emphasize enough on the importance of staying hydrated during summers. Consume plenty of water and fluids such as coconut water, buttermilk, and lemon water, whether you are at home or traveling. Ensure that you are drinking at least 10-12 glasses of water daily. Our body's normal temperature is 37° C for maintaining this temperature we can use juices like watermelon which consist of 90% of water it provides cooling affect to body. Use lemon juice their minerals and electrolytes (salt) helps in rehydrating your body with heat stress. Juices of some other citrus fruits (vitamin C) helps in breakdown of fatty food and help in digestion and provide cooling affect.
2. Wear Loose-Fitting Clothes:
It is advisable to wear loose and light-colored cotton clothes during summer. This is because dark colors tend to absorb more heat and tight clothing does not allow your skin to breathe.
3. Take Plenty of Rest:
If you travel for work, it is advisable to seek shade from the hot sun and rest often.
4. Use Ice Packs and Sunscreen:
Ice packs are quick pain relievers when suffering from a heat stroke. Besides, avoid sunburn and skin damage by using an SPF-based sunscreen or body lotion.
5. Maintain Good Personal Hygiene:
As we learnt earlier, bacteria and viruses breed during the summers. To avoid contracting diseases caused by these infectious parasites, it is best to maintain good personal hygiene. Wash your hands with mild soap and water multiple times throughout the day, especially before cooking or consuming food. Also, avoid eating uncooked or raw food items. Do not consume local tap water as it can lead to water-borne diseases.
6. Vaccinate: get vaccinated for measles and mumps in case you or your children are not immunized.
7. Wear Protective Gear:
If sun exposure is inevitable, wear a cap and sunglasses to keep your skin safe.
