The School Weekly 9th April 2023

WORLD HEALTH DAY 2023
“Being healthy is a success. That many people forget to celebrate”
I wish you all a belated Happy World Health Day. World Health Day is a global awareness day celebrated every year on April 7 under the sponsorship of the World Health Organisation.
Now, when I see the word “Awareness” a quote comes to my mind “Awareness without action is worthless”; So rather than talking about health, let's aim to get healthy this year.
The main objective of world health day is to promote awareness and action on a specific health theme that is of concern to people worldwide. Over the years, world health day has highlighted a range of issues including mental health, maternal and childcare, food safety, and the need for universal health coverage.
This year's theme is “Health for all” and is planning numerous campaigns and awareness programs to facilitate discussion on global health.
Lastly,, I will encourage all of you on this day to pay attention to your health, take some time to work out, and adopt good food habits.
Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.
Thank you, and have a nutritious day ahead.

World Health Day
World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7th to raise awareness about global health issues and to promote the importance of good health for everyone. This year, the theme for World Health Day is "Building a fairer, healthier world," highlighting the inequalities in access to healthcare that exist in many parts of the world. On this World Health Day, let us all take a moment to appreciate the importance of good health and recognize the efforts of healthcare workers worldwide who have been working tirelessly to keep us safe during these challenging times. Let us also commit ourselves to work towards a future where healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of their socio-economic status or geographical location.
